The resurrection of a new old building in downtown Emporia Kansas.

I take photographs, I’ve always taken photographs. Lots of them. 70mm, 35mm, color, black and white, slide, print, the whole gamut.

I do travel a bit so I take pictures as I find them. Many times I don’t wander more than 30 yards from my front door. ‘There is never nothing going on.’; and, ‘If you take enough pictures you’re going to get a good one.’ are my watch words.

I find myself framing and shooting even when I don’t have a camera.

Pictures are where you find them. I walk down the street, particularly at dusk and dawn, and see things that strike me as beautiful, odd, unique, or any combination of the three.

Perception is such an odd thing.
